We are excited to welcome Ambassador Dr. Deepak Vohra at our IBA, Bangalore campus to interact with our students, alumni, faculty and staff.

Dr. Deepak Vohra graduated from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and St. Columba’s School. He has also been educated at National Defense College (India) and University of Paris.

Dr. Vohra is an IFS and was Indian Ambassador to Armenia and Poland. From August, 2001 to July, 2005, Mr. Vohra served as an Additional Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs.

Dr. Deepak Vohra is currently a Special Adviser to the Prime Minister of Lesotho and Guinea-Bissau (Africa). Previously, he was Advisor to the Government of South Sudan. During his service in the Indian Foreign Service (IFS), he has served in France, Tunisia, United States, Chad, Cameroon, Papua New Guinea, Spain, Armenia, Sudan, Poland.

Prior to his role as Diplomat, he was an officer on special duty to the Technology Advisor to the Prime Minister of India.

Dr. Vohra has also previously worked with Sulabh International and has been a part of United Nations assignments in Africa.
