Dr. Murugan G is an accomplished academic administrator and finance professional with over 16 years of combined experience, including 10 years in higher education leadership and teaching, and 6 years in financial services, currently serving as Assistant Professor - Finance at IBA Bangalore. 

He holds a Ph.D. in Management from Thiruvalluvar University and has qualified SET (TN). His research interests span women's investment behavior, value investing, behavioral finance, artificial intelligence in finance, commodity markets, and financial planning.

He has published widely in UGC CARE-approved and peer-reviewed journals, with a Scopus-indexed book chapter published by Springer. He has presented research papers at national and international conferences. Dr. Murugan is known for his leadership in institutional development, having served as Head of Department, Convener of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), In-charge of the R&D Cell, and IQAC member for NIRF rankings. Prior to academia, he gained 6 years of hands-on industry experience in capital markets with leading firms such as Kotak Securities, IL&FS/HSBC Invest Direct, and BMA Wealth Creators.
