Dr.Nandeesh V. Hiremath, currently working as PROFESSOR (HRM & Entrepreneurship) at Indus Business Academy (IBA), Bangalore (since-2015), is a multi-skilled techno-management professional with 32+years of experience in PG-Teaching, Training, Research and Administration/Management of Higher Education Institutions.

As Faculty Mentor of Start-up Cell/ ELIC (Entrepreneurship Learning & Incubation Centre) at IBA, he has taken IBA as one among the Top-100 B-Schools in India during 2018-19. He is also Faculty Coordinator of NISP (National Innovation & Start-up Policy) Project of AICTE & UGC, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India at IBA.

Dr.Nandeesh is MSc (Agri), MBA, PhD with 16 other Certifications including the Level-5 Certified Faculty from Wadhwani Global University (2018-20); 14-week FDP from IIM-Bangalore (2019) & 3-month Academic Leadership Program(ALP) from Harvard University,USA & Ureka.uk (2020).

Prior to joining IBA, Dr.Nandeesh has held various Senior Academic Leadership positions for over 14+years such as

Professor & Director – Industry & Academic Collaborations (CMR University),

Professor & Dean (IBMR – International Business School),

Professor & Asst.Dean (International Institute of Business Studies).

As Senior Faculty & DirectorI/c at National Inst. of Rural Banking(NIRB), a NABARD- funded training institute, Trained 12,500+ Bankers & earlier worked as Manager-R&D (Tropica Seeds Pvt.Ltd.).

He has Trained over 35,000+ Executives from Corporates, MSMEs, NGOs & Banking Sector

Dr.Hiremath is proactively associated with professional & Industry bodies like NHRD, NIPM, AIMS, BCIC, QCFI, ISTD, IACC, ICBE, CESS etc

and he is passionately serving community by managing four(4) NGOs viz., Lokaseva Foundation(2004), Prakruthi Foundation(2006), International Veershaiva Foundation(2008) Humane Charities Trust (2017) and Rotary International (since 2003 in various capacities).

As Techno-management Consultant (since-1998), worked with various International NGO-funding Agencies (from USA, EU, UK, Scotland, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark) in sustainable & rural development; has special interests in Professional networking, Intellectual Property Rights(IPRs), Career mentoring to youth-of-rural India.

Dr.Nandeesh is recipient of Outstanding Rotarian Award (2006 and 2017) & two-Guinness World Records (2016 & 2017) and got recognized as ‘Star Faculty’ by Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India(2017), for his contribution@ IBA through MOOCs-integrated- Teaching in collaboration with Wahdwani Foundation.
