
Dr. Uma has pursued PhD in Human Resource Management from Jain University. She began her career in the Corporate as HR.
Dr Uma has been in industry experience since 2003, and teaching since 2009, and research experience. Her areas of research are Human Resource Accounting, Leadership and Creativity. Her experience in management teaching is in the area of Human Resource Management and its electives. Dr Uma also has experience in delivering and designing corporate sessions about Induction programs for entry-level managers, Advanced Management Program (AMP), Senior Management Programs (SMP), Leadership Management program (LDP), Manager Development Program (MDP), Train the Trainer and Behavioural workshops. Over these years, she partnered with senior leadership as HR business partners to enable best possible results through people, towards strategic organizational goals. Uma is truly passionate about enabling performance development in individuals, teams and the overall organization.
An avid trainer of soft skills. She specializes in the areas of training & development and is a much sought after trainer at corporate, School and management colleges.
She also held an academic administrative position as Principal and HOD - MBA, while serving in Colleges affiliated to Bangalore University.
She has published research papers in ABDC journal and presented papers in International Conference and National Conferences.
