Guest Lecture on ‘Trends and Opportunities in Digital Business’

The students of the newly inducted IBA’s 2021-23 PGDM batch had an interactive session with Mr. Sandeep Agarwal, EVP & Head – BFSI IT at Visionet Systems Inc., over a session titled ‘Trends and Opportunities in Digital Business’ on 28^th July 2021.

Mr. Sandeep holds over 26 years of diverse experience in Technology, Data, Digital Transformation and BFSI practice. As part of Executive Leadership at Visionet, he is responsible for Strategy, Business, Technology and People, building next-generation Digital Technologies, to provide a complete Hyper-Automation (BPM, RPA, AI) solution to its customers.

He enlightened the students of the 21^st batch of IBA Bangalore about the changes Digital revolution has brought in businesses since the 21^st century and how deeper its penetration has reached during the Covid 19 pandemic. He also added a word of caution owing to cybersecurity threats and continuous disruption in technology. He also informed students over industry expectations, emerging technologies, new business models and key success factors and concluded the session with a brief about the management book written by him – P.R.I.D.E.
