75th Independence Day 2022

Independence Day is celebrated annually on 15th August as a public holiday in India, commemorating the nation’s independence from the United Kingdom on 15 August, 1947.
On the eve of independence day, the President of India delivers the “Address to the nation”. On 15 August Prime Minister of India hoists the Indian flag on the ramparts of the historical site of Red Fort in Delhi.
IBA tends to celebrate all kinds of cultures and festivals, having students from almost all parts of the country, IBA is like a mini India or rightly termed as ‘Indiapura’.
To celebrate the 75th Independence Day, this year IBA had an opportunity to invite Retired Major R D Bhargava, Veteran, Indian Army (Regiment of Artillery), as Chief guest on the campus. He gave the students a motivating speech that inspired them as well as marked the importance o and marked the importance of Independence starting with ‘Saraswati Vandana’ followed by lighting the lamp and flag hoisting by the Chief guest. Recitation of the National Anthem was followed after that.
The students gave an outstanding performance in the field of dance and vocals. To give tribute to the freedom fighters, the students organized a special segment called ‘Proud Indians’.
The events were organized keeping in mind the diversity of the nation and the elixir of inspiration of the warriors of freedom struggle and the elixir of energy of Independence.
