Panel Discussion on Entrepreneurship

A panel discussion on entrepreneurship and new venture creation took place on February 6, 2023, in the Indus Business Academy’s enormous auditorium in Bengaluru. Prof. Bholanath Dutta, the Founder, President, and Convenor of MTC Global in Bengaluru, served as the honorary guest for the event, which was addressed by Prof. Ravi Sankar, faculty member at the Indus Business Academy. A discussion of the entrepreneurial and start-up ecosystems worldwide, particularly in India, was the agenda for the meeting.

In the conversation with Prof. Bholanath Dutta, three students from each batch had the chance to participate. The panellists’ questions were answered one-on-one by Prof. Dutta, who also conducted a one-to-one discussion. Prof. Dutta’s personal experience was interwoven with the highly informative conversation that was packed with data and facts. Following the conversation, the panellists had a chance to ask questions and get answers to their doubts.The Question and Answer session provided the students with in-depth knowledge about start-ups (old and new school of thought), the role of entrepreneurial architecture, profitability as the 8th P in the post-pandemic era, the need for lean business plans, the significance of value creation and value proposition, entrepreneurs and entrapreneurs, reasons for start-up failure, and their success mantras, among other topics. As the Q&A session continued, it was made available to the audience as well, and the crowd was informed by several perceptive queries that turned out to be extremely significant.

The meeting was adjourned with a vote of thanks from the Master of the Ceremony. In a nutshell, the session was incredibly educational and full of insights about “Entrepreneurship,” which is the trendiest topic in the current environment, and it gave everyone a learning experience. The students also requested more of these beneficial lessons.
