LinkedIn and its Benefits to Students

On February 16, 2023, a guest lecture on how to identify yourself and create content was delivered by Sangeeta Abhishek.

The topic of discussion was the opportunity given by LinkedIn to learn more about someone by reading their profile. Distributing content aids in the process of building authority. A suggestion on how to build a strong profile was also given, such as writing a summary with the right keywords and fewest possible words. She also emphasised that, rather than the number of words used, “how strong you make it is a key.”

The importance of making more connections and interacting with others lies in the fact that higher involvement encourages more visits to profiles, which in turn encourages the development of additional connections.
