Date: 25.12.2024
Our Christmas festivities at IBA commenced amidst the twinkling lights on the eve of the 24th, as we ventured to Church Street at the stroke of midnight, soaking in the enchanting atmosphere of the bustling street adorned with colourful lights and echoing with melodious carols. It was a moment of serenity and reflection, as we welcomed the dawn of Christmas in the heart of the city’s spirit.
On the night of the 25th, our campus transformed into a haven of merriment and cheer. The evening began with a sumptuous special dinner, where laughter resonated and bonds were strengthened over delicious delicacies. A heartfelt welcome speech set the tone for the evening, reminding us of the true essence of Christmas – spreading love and kindness.
As anticipation filled the air, Santa Claus made a grand entrance, his sack brimming with gifts and joy. The room erupted in excitement as gifts were exchanged, bringing smiles to faces young and old alike. The traditional cake cutting ceremony followed, marking the sweetness of the season and the joy of togetherness.
The night continued with a flurry of activities, from lively group dances to soul-stirring carol singing that filled our hearts with the melody of Christmas. Games such as musical chairs and Secret Santa added to the festive spirit, fostering laughter and friendly competition. And as the evening drew to a close, we gathered around the bonfire, its warm glow a symbol of the bonds that unite us as a community.
