Mr. Ghosh talked about the Product Life cycle and the difference between innovation and disruptive innovation. He explained disruptive innovation through examples like pager which was replaced by cell phones to smartphones.
Mr Ghosh also gave the students an in-depth knowledge about the 3-box solution which was suggested by Prof. Vijay Govinda Rajan where Box 1 states “Managing the present”, Box 2 states “Selectively forgetting the past” and Box 3 states “Creating the Future”.
Lastly, he concluded the session with a beautiful quote by A.P.J. Abdul Kalam: If you fail, never give up because F.A.I.L means ‘First Attempt In Learning.’ End is not the end, in fact E.N.D means ‘Effort Never Dies’. If you get No as an answer, remember N.O. means ‘Next Opportunity’.
