Guest Lecture by Dr. Nandagopal

On 4th April 2024, Dr. Nandagopal R., a distinguished academic and industry leader, visited Indus Business Academy (IBA), Bangalore, where he delivered an insightful guest lecture on the topic Industry 4.0. Dr. Nandagopal, who is a member of the governing and academic advisory board of IBA and is a Director General of Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College. His extensive experience in academia and industry made his lecture particularly relevant to the students of IBA.

During his address, Dr. Nandagopal traced the evolution of industrial practices, beginning with Industry 1.0, which was marked by traditional manufacturing methods. He then guided the audience through the transformation to Industry 4.0, characterized by advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), automation, data analytics, and the Internet of Things (IoT). He highlighted the revolutionary impact of these technologies on modern business practices, emphasizing how they are reshaping industries and redefining job roles.
