Ms. Jovita Rexy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration with a focus on communication and critical thinking. Her academic background in English literature, combined with a growing interest in management education, allows her to bridge the gap between literary depth and professional communication. At IBA, she facilitates courses in Business Communication and related areas, helping students develop clarity, confidence, and authenticity in their expression. Her teaching style is a blend of structure and creativity, encouraging students to think critically while learning to express their ideas with purpose and precision.
Her academic interests include gender studies, queer theory, structuralism, and literary criticism. She has contributed to national conferences, moderated international poetry forums, and worked on research that explores identity, representation, and language through a literary lens. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Ms. Jovita has served as an editor and content developer for institutional publications, including newsletters, brochures, handbooks, and annual reports. She has also played an active role in mentoring and guiding student initiatives such as debate clubs, cultural events, and social media outreach.
With a background in western music, dance, and theatre, she brings a creative and performance-based sensibility into the classroom. This fusion of arts and academics creates a lively and engaging learning environment where students are encouraged to explore, question, and grow. Her approach to education is rooted in the belief that communication is not just a professional skill, but a way of thinking, connecting, and making meaning in the world.
