Industry Visit: IBM Innovation Centre

IBM Innovation Centre, Embassy Golf Link Park, Bangalore
Prof. Muvva Butchi Babu along with students of 2014 – 16 batch went to the IBM Innovation Centre, Embassy Golf Link Park, Bangalore. The visit proved to be extremely helpful for students in learning the working structure at a data centre. The students learnt the different operating systems used at data center like IBM-i and AIX. The storage system used like IBM – XIV, which is a high enterprise cloud storage system, IBM Pureflex, which combines storage, networking and management into a single based power system. Students were also explained, the role of CIO in the upgrade of a data center.
