The IBA Alumni Association was registered under Karnataka Socities Act (Reg. No. SOR/BLU/DR/298/09-10) on 27th June, 2009 and was formally launched on the 22nd November, 2009, the convocation day, with a view that it would provide a meaningful platform for future interaction among all the ex-IBA students. With this idea, an Alumni Committee has been formed. The committee includes representatives from the Management, Current faculties and old students starting from the first batch.
IBA Alumni Association was formed with an objective to provide a platform for increasing the feeling of fraternity and brotherhood, to protect and promote the interest of members, issues like placement opportunities for the passing out batch, providing guest lectures, keeping the IBAites in mind when some good openings come around in the corporate world and act as a responsible corporate/social human being.

Every year 2 energetic batches of enthusiastic entrepreneurs leave our campuses at IBA – Bangalore and Greater Noida. With the numbers increasing year-on-year, we would like to promote the sense of belonging and ownership amongst the students, faculty members and the management teams. We are looking at each one of us as the Brand Ambassador of a great institution called IBA, where CEO’s (Creative; Enlightened; & Organic leaders) are made.
Needless to say that the sense of belonging will be manifested in our participation at the various programs christened at the Campuses, as well as our contribution to the activities of the association. I believe, just like me, you also feel that the IBA Alumni association is our own and we are a part of the large extended family.
So let me wish each one of us luck and perseverance. I wish you all successes in your careers and life path. With the establishment of our Alumni Association we will know whom to think of – one of us – an IBAiate during our necessities.
