Archish 2013
Archish’13 was another feather in the cap of IBA. Archish refers to an enlightened beam of light, and this year the theme was Tsangpo.
Tsangpo denotes the grand river Brahmaputra which is a symbol of India’s connection with China. In modern times the experts of technology & industry – the most enlightened source.
The passion and hard work of students with the support of management and staff for 4 months created history. The campus was decorated, keeping the theme in mind, with the beautiful and authentic colourful culture of India and China. The overall sponsorship for the event was worth half a Crore from sponsors like Inox, Fever 104 FM, Go Cabs, Himalaya Herbals, Deccan Herald, Corporate world, Minglebox.com, Education Times.com, YLG Saloons, Coca Cola, Avon, and Slyds. Archish’13 crossed the footfalls benchmark of 650 that included Corporates, Participants, Students, and Alumni. The total number of participating institutes was 26 out of which 19 were for management battles, and 7 were for cultural like SDM Mysore, Jain University, Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Sciences, IBA Greater Noida, Christ University, Kristu Jayanti college, etc.
The total no. of verticals was 9 namely Finance (Anuttara), Marketing (Viriya), HR (Avalokitesvara), BQuiz (Karma), IT (Panjra), Retail (Chetana), Operations (Satori), Best management team (Arhat), and Cultural (Mudita). After 2 tough days of battle, the grand finale was held on the evening of 2nd day. With all the zeal, passion, and spirit to rock the stage on the IBA floor the participants of the Rock band, Fashion Show and Group Dance thrilled the audience every moment. The Best Institute award was bagged by, Kristu Jayanti College.
It all ended with lots of learning, but it wasn’t the end of Archish’13 but the beginning of Archish’14.
