Archish 2014
This year the theme of Archish was CHAMAELEONIDAE. First of all, if we compare humans with any creature, we will have some other odd feeling. Many of us, do not identify the special features of others species, but we need to identify those features that help us to learn a lot of things, as future corporate leaders, Management students should have clear observation of their environment and competitors and have skills like 360 degrees approach, change colors to communicate, reserves effectively, sense of wisdom, faster than a blink, which they can mainly learn from animals. So the theme attempts comparing the manager’s nature in the corporate with chameleons.
The overall prizes to be won were around Rs. 4 lakhs garnered from sponsors like Inox, Twenty19.com, Mascot, Knolskape, Rossini Cafe, Grip Ship, Arihant Traders, Inorbit Mall, Café Bengaluru, Corporates World, Inorbit Genext, and Celebrate Life. The total no. of verticals this time was 12 as compared to 9 in the previous edition with the addition of 3 new ones – Photography (Jackson’s Eye), Short Cinema (Calyptratus), and Live Business Idea (Chamgirl). Apart from these verticals, there were also verticals of Finance (Fischer), Marketing (Panther), HR (Nadzikambia), B-Quiz (Archaius), IT (Calumma), Retail (Chamaeleo), Operations (Furcifer), Best Manager (Triceros) and Cultural (Rhampholeon).
