Archish 2K20 Revolutionised
The Humanoid way
Date: 7th – 8th Feb. 2020
Archish 2K20 was a two-day affair at IBA Bangalore in all the spheres ranging from managerial wizardry to the cultural extravaganzas. The zeal was pretty high both from IBA as well as the participants of the annual management fest of IBA Bangalore. This time the theme of Humanoid revolution portraying the possibilities of humanoids, turning the tables for the humans and making tasks easy, easier, or maybe easiest for that matter. The entire theme hovered around the possibilities of human-like robots and their efficiency, which could be used, in the favour of mankind and business management for that matter.
The two-day Managerial Extravaganza started on 7th Feb 2020, the very first day, with the inaugural ceremony followed by the purest and the most beautiful aspect of IBA culture, i.e., Sarasvati Vandana after which the rife of competition was just way too high in the air. Definitely This was one of the best Archish ever that IBA had witnessed in recent times. It was bigger, better, and certainly the most technologically hyped and engaging fest of all time. In terms of the number of participants as well as the achieved footfalls, IBA raised its standards to a new level. There were altogether 25 teams from various management colleges, which even included some of the outstation colleges like SRM Chennai, VIT Vellore, etc.
The fest in total had 9 verticals for participation – Marketing, Finance, HR, B-Quiz, Best Manager, CSR, Treasure Hunt, Photography, Cultural, and Management Congruence. Out of these, the talk of the fest was Management Congruence, which was, in a way, the overall championship. The fest continued on the 2nd day, i.e. 8th Feb, at the end of which, the winners of all the verticals were felicitated including the Overall champion which was Christ University, Bangalore who showed some excellent spirit, teamwork, and displayed versatility in knowledge across management disciplines and their practice.
The fest also had an instance where the clock turned back somewhere close to IBA’s inception when it had a star in the making, Mr. Benson Chacko (Batch 2002-04), who is now a world-renowned Opera singer, came along to perform with his band ft. Mr. Jonas Castilho Monteiro and Ms. Nandipa Precious Kurebwaseka, and together they took the excitement level of this fest to previously unscaled heights. The student-driven event was a huge success overall for the college, which set a benchmark, which would surely be tough to achieve in the years to come.
