Celebrating Gurpurab: Gurunanak Jayanti at Indus Business Academy
Indus Business Academy (IBA) observed the auspicious occasion of Gurunanak Jayanti with profound devotion and community spirit. This day, commemorating the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, was marked by reverence, reflection, and togetherness, embodying the teachings of the great spiritual leader.
The celebrations commenced early in the morning with the Paath (recitation of sacred hymns) and Prasad distribution. Held on the ground floor of Santripti from 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM, students, faculty, and staff gathered to listen to the recitation of the hymns. The sacred verses filled the air with serenity, fostering a sense of peace and spiritual connection. The distribution of Prasad after the Paath symbolized the sharing of blessings and goodwill among the IBA family.
In the evening, the campus came together for the Langar, held from 7:30 PM to 8:45 PM on the first floor of Santripti. The Langar was organized with the invaluable support of the dedicated mess staff, who worked tirelessly to prepare and serve the meal. Their efforts, combined with the spirit of selfless service, reflected the essence of seva (service) as taught by Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
