Barcodes, the retail club of Indus Business Academy, Bangalore, held their inaugural guest lecture on the subject ‘Challenges faced by the Retail Sector and how AI and ML aid to cope with them’. Mr. Tanay Shrivastava of Ivy Mobility delivered the day’s keynote address. It gave students in-depth insights on how e-commerce companies have enhanced the retail industry and how using AI & ML enhance their customer’s buying experience as well as have an advantage over the competition. He introduced the class to ChatGPT, IBM Watson, and a variety of other AI-based programmes that can help address issues in the retail sector more successfully.
