Prof. Jenita Saji is an individual with a strong background in the field of English language and communication with diverse educational background and a passion for continuous learning and improvement. Prof. Jenita holds a Master of Arts in English Literature from St. Aloysius College in Mangalore. She has also pursued a Master of Arts in Psychology with a specialization in Industrial Psychology from IGNOU.
Prof. Jenita has 2.4 years of experience as a Lecturer in English at Loyola Degree College, Bangalore. In this role, she effectively delivered English language and literature lectures, engaged students in discussions, and set up semester question papers of Functional English and Phonetics and Phonology which were applicable to colleges affiliated to Bangalore University. She also has 1.6 years of experience as a Content Writer at Xea Innovations Pvt. Ltd., an Ed-Tech startup. This experience allowed her to develop her writing skills and create educational content for various digital platforms.
In addition to her educational background, teaching experience, and commitment to continuous learning, Prof. Jenita Saji has also made significant contributions as a content editor for two books namely Lockdown Diaries authored by Prof. Lazarus Lepcha. This book provides insights and reflections on personal experiences of common people during the COVID-19 lockdown period. And “From Standups to Startups” by Mr. Jithin Sunny which highlights various important points on starting a start-up and the challenges and procedures that come along the way.
As an Assistant Professor in English and Communication at IBA, Prof. Jenita Saji is responsible for delivering lectures, conducting workshops and leading discussions on various topics related to English language and communication. Additionally, she is in charge of content development, utilizing her expertise in effective communication strategies to facilitate better understanding and engagement among students, faculty and other stakeholders.
