Farewell Batch 2019-21
FAREWELL PARTY FOR BATCH 2019-21
Date: 23rd May 2021
One of the most difficult aspects of life is to say goodbye to someone. It was, with a sense of pride, and a bit of disappointment as well, that the junior batch bid farewell to their seniors, the batch of 19-21. It wouldn’t be fair to call them just seniors because the term sounds very formal. They were more like a family to the juniors, who took care of them and guided them from start to end.
This year, the farewell went on for two days. The first day of the event started with a surprise Flash mob, which formally invited the seniors to the main farewell evening, followed by games & activities and ended by collecting responses for confession.
On the second day, junior students set up a Photobooth with some party props outside the college Auditorium. The farewell started with a grand welcome party speech, followed by speeches from members of the faculty. After that, cultural activities started that included singing, dancing and other fun activities. Post snacks break, contests for Mr and Ms Eleanor volunteers were conducted, which was very engaging.
As the competition culminated, Mr Kramatur Reza was chosen Mr Eleanor and Ms Tanya Alexander as Ms Eleanor. The day came to an end with a sumptuous and delicious at the Santripti (Student’s mess).
Overall, everybody enjoyed the event to the fullest, and Farewell 2K21 became the most creative farewell, by far, at IBA.
