Fresher’s Bash: A Two-Day Welcome Extravaganza

Indus Business Academy recently hosted the highly anticipated Freshers Bash, a two-day event organized by the senior batch to warmly welcome the new junior batch. This exciting event was packed with activities, creativity, and fun-filled celebrations, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved.

Day 1 set a traditional tone, with juniors showcasing their best Indian attire sarees and kurtas transforming the campus into a cultural spectacle. On Day 2, the theme took a tropical twist with a Hawaiian Day, where juniors embraced the “no bag day” challenge. Dressed in vibrant, floral outfits, they also found innovative alternatives to bags, replacing them with pillow covers, travel bags, and even buckets, creating a lively Hawaiian vibe.

The nights of both days were filled with joy, laughter, and various competitions, including the much-awaited Mr. Astral and Ms. Astral contests. Following tradition, juniors had to convince seniors to partner with them for the competition, leading to fun interactions and unexpected pairings. The competitions ranged from ramp walks and dance battles to scavenger hunts and a rapid-fire question round, allowing each pair to showcase their creativity and talent.

In the end, Ms. Prerna Singh and Mr. Omanshu Rathore emerged victorious, securing the titles of Ms. Astral Freshers and Mr. Astral Freshers. The two-day event was a perfect blend of entertainment, creativity, and camaraderie, leaving the junior batch with memories to cherish as they embark on their journey at the academy.
