Guest Lecture by Dr. Deepak Vohra & Dr. Usha Yanamandra
A guest lecture was conducted on 3rd of March 2024 in the Auditorium of IBA, by Dr. Deepak Vohra who is a special advisor to PM of India in Africa & Ladakh & Governing Council Member. He spoke on the topic “Amritkal Viksit Bharat @ 2047, Supreme self-confidence for achievement”. He introduced about himself by explaining about his diverse family and how he is secular in nature. He then mentioned about the developed countries and Bharat’s recent journey throughout the last 3 decades. How well it manages its population as well as poverty. He also discussed on various other topics such as Bharat’s Navy rescue mission, artificial intelligence Netaji Subash Chandra Bose’s contribution towards the freedom struggle, Indian Relief Missions in Turkey, Development in Bharat, Project 2047 etc.
The second speaker was Dr. Usha Yanamandra who is a Deputy Secretary General who conversed on various topics like being smarter than smartphone, self-branding about yourself, temporary nature of all things in world, how do you define success, & being remembered than being noticed.
Both the speakers gave us insights into their own specialties in their own fields, the session was very interactive and energy driven, and entertaining. It was a very memorable and informative session for the student of IBA.
