Guest Lectures – Six Insights into “Capital Market in India”

The Indus Business Academy organized a Guest lecture on-  Six Insights into “Capital Market in India”. The lecture wave was held on 7th July 2023 in Auditorium for the new batch of 2023-25 by Mr. Narasimhan, who has an overall experience of around 16 years in the field of Investments and has worked at different levels in corporates. Currently, he is associated with a start-up named Finnest Funds Mart and was accompanied by his colleague Mr. Vijetha.

Mr. Narasimhan made us walk through the concept of the capital market, including the financial market, financial institutions, and the various financial market institution and different financial market instruments.

He also conducted a quiz having questions related to India’s GDP, capital market, financial market instruments, economic history of India, and stock exchange. He also put forward his own experience as he has his start-up.

The session then reached its focal point when he summated about PPP (Purchasing Power Parity), Inflation, the power of compounding, and the major changes after 1991.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks and Mr. Narasimhan was presented with a memento by Prof. Dr B.K.Bhattacharya.
