International Study Tour (OBSM) – Batch 13-15
International Study Tour to Singapore
Date: 18th – 26th November 2014
IBA students went for the International Study Tour or the Overseas Business Study Mission (OBSM) along with Mr. Manish Jain, Founder & CEO – IBA Bangalore to Singapore from 18th – 26th Nov. 2014.
With the purpose of understanding & learning customer service, industry analysis, nature of businesses, etc. the students visited companies like:
- Tiger Breweries (Owned by Heineken Asia Pacific)
- SAP
- Tech Mahindra
- NE Water
- Guan Hin Coffee Factory
The students gained valuable insights from this visit into functioning of various industry leaders as well as the best practices followed by them.
They also explored the cultural aspect of Singapore by visiting places like the Old Parliament, Old Ford factory, etc. which gave them insight into the history, tradition and struggle of Singapore.
