Janamashtami Celebration
The 2022-24 and 2023-25 batch organised an event as Indus Business Academy observed Krishna Janmashtami on 08th September, 2023.
Janmashtami or Gokulashtami is a significant Hindu festival celebrated with great fervor and devotion across India and by Hindus around the world. It commemorates the birth of Lord Krishna, who is considered the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The festival falls on the eighth day of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) in the month of Bhadrapada, according to the Hindu lunar calendar. The event started with story telling highlighting the life of lord Krishna by Mr. Swapnil Thakur and Ms. Anisha Nayak. The night proceeded with beautiful dance performances and then Radha-Krishna competition where participants showed their talents depicting the Raasleela of Radha Krishna. The competition was won by Kanak Bagra as Krishna, who as an IBA custom, proceeded for “Dahi Handi” for breaking the dahi handi blindfolded. It was a spectacular event. Dr. Manish Jain and Bhavya Kalra ma’am beautifully chanted the prayers post which everyone participated in aarti.
