PARYUSHAN PARV
Paryushan Parv was celebrated at IBA Bangalore and Jain customs were duly observed. To celebrate the festival, 108 diyas were lit, representing the 108 virtues of Lord Mahavira. Aarti was performed every day and night for 10 continuous days to glorify Lord Mahavira and pooja was performed according to Jain customs. Celebrating Paryushan Parv with devotion is a way to purify the mind, body and soul and seek forgiveness from others. This is a great opportunity to reflect on actions and try to develop into better personalities by practicing self-discipline and self-control. It was great to see people come together to celebrate the festival and keep the rich Jain traditions alive at IBA Bangalore.
