“Stock Market-A path to uncommon profits” – Prakash Kumar Gupta

On January 3, 2023, Indus Business Academy welcomed Mr. Prakash Kumar Gupta, a senior working capital manager at Kotak Mahindra Bank. He educated students about stock markets and the potential for uncommon profits. He further discussed how investing in the stock market is a great way to build wealth over the long term. But it can also be a risky endeavour, and it is important to understand the risks before you invest.

It is important to remember that stock markets can be volatile and prices can go up or down quickly. Our young minds learned that it is important to diversify your investments and never put all your eggs in one basket. Mr. Gupta also introduced students to different types of stocks, such as blue chip stocks, growth stocks, and value stocks, and the basics of stock investing. He guided the students to do research on individual stocks, understand how to read a stock chart, and know when to buy and sell. He made them understand the different types of stock analysis, such as technical analysis, fundamental analysis, and sentiment analysis.
